Porgera Joint Venture Project and Expansion 4, Papua New Guinea
Merit provided construction management services on this 1,500 ton/day 2 stage crushing and 2 stage grinding project.

Stage 2 included pressure oxidation (autoclaving) and oxygen plant additons.

Stage 3 expansion to 4.500 ton/day with single stage crushing, SAG and Bill grinding, Stage 1 grinding conversion to regrind and flotation expansion. Underground crushing station, conveyors and 200M vertical conveyor. Gas turbine power station and 70 km transmission line, limestone processing plant, townsite, school and airport, water dam, pumpstation and 15 km pipeline.
