Position:Safety Manager Location: Overseas and North America
Coordinate with the Owner on, and manage all safety aspects on the project construction.
DUTIES
Develop a site specific Health, Safety and Environmental document
Coordinate with government agencies on safety reporting and inspections
Manage the contractors safety methods and activities
Spot check Contractor's safety tool box sessions and meetings
Receive Contract Safety Statistics and reports
Provide Project Construction Safety statistics on a weekly and monthly basis.
Review policies, procedures and methods with Merit site personnel, contractors and the Owner.
Keep up with current safety legislation.
File all safety reports with the CM, Owner and appropriate authorities.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 15 years experience in industrial safety, Occupational Health & Safety Diploma Program with Standard First-Aid and CPR certified. The applicant should have good people and management skills.
