| Position: Document Control Location: Overseas and North America The purpose of the Document Control function within Merit is to ensure that all engineering, construction and project related documentation is controlled in a consistent manner and ensuring that all aspects of baseline management from issuance to final distribution and closure is maintained. Document Control is responsible for the issuing, receiving, distributing, tracking and filing of construction related documentation such as contract documents, contract correspondence, design drawings, design briefs and calculations, specifications, vendor information and manuals, etc. Control of other non-construction related documents such as correspondence, progress reports, etc. are also processed by the Document Control person. The delegated individuals designated as Document Controller (DC) for document control management shall be fully conversant with the following Merit Guidelines: 1.0 Filing System 2.0 Contract Documents 3.0 Technical Documents DC shall be responsible for the controlling of technical documents under the instruction of the Merit's or Owner's Project Coordinator.
